The joy of dance is our family tradition and we look forward to sharing it with you through a variety of affordable options. Nan’s is a place for your dancer to grow and establish self-discipline and self-confidence while also having fun!
From ballet to hip hop, we offer dance classes for ALL ages & skill levels in a variety of styles. We place students in classes that will challenge them while offering a fun atmosphere for learning and growth. We also offer Mommy & Me classes, (18 mos – 2.5 yrs)
Our competitive dance program, for dancers in Kindergarten through 12th grade who are ready to deepen their training.
Did someone say “dance party?” Throw the perfect birthday party at Nan’s! Parties at Nan’s School of Dance are designed to be fun for kids and easy for the parents. Our Raleigh location offers parties for girls and boys from ages 3-10.
Our Company Team is the competitive dance program at Nan’s School of Dance, for dancers in Kindergarten through 12th grade who are ready to deepen their training. Company dancers train multiple nights a week, perform at local community events, and compete each spring.
Nan’s School of Dance has been sharing the love of dance since 1975. Nan’s has three family-owned studios, in Yadkinville, Greensboro and here in North Raleigh, with the goal of bringing joy and technical instruction to the surrounding community. Our Raleigh studio is at 8471 Garvey Drive #109, off Durant Road in North Raleigh.
Discover how fun dance can be with a free trial class! We offer classes for all ages and skill levels using only kid-friendly music. Our free trial classes are offered September through January. Registration for the dance year ends January 31, 2027.

Yes. Nan’s School of Dance takes registrations for the dance year through January 31, and new students can take a free trial class any time from September through January.
Start with your child’s age. Age decides which classes your child can join at Nan’s, and for most kids from 3 through 5th grade the best first class is a combination class.
