Preteen – 5th through 7th grade
Teens – 8th to 12th Grade

Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Contemporary & Hip Hop Dance Classes
For these age groups we offer a variety of styles. Ballet is taught using the Cecchetti method, and Tap focuses on combination steps and rhythms. In Jazz, we focus on the technique of leaps and turns, while also using upbeat music to educate students to all styles of Jazz. Contemporary is a popular choice of dance for this age group. It’s a form of dance that focuses on lyrical and modern movements, while also connecting with one’s emotion. Hip hop class is a fun way to get a workout. Stylistic and intricate moves with street style are taught to age-appropriate, popular music.
Contemporary, Ballet, and Jazz are 45 minute classes. Hip Hop, Tap, and Pointe are 30 minute classes.

Hip Hop
- Dance Class Attire: Dance attire or athletic clothes. No jeans, jean shorts or skirts.
- Required Shoes: Any sneakers, socks or bare feet. Specific shoes are required for recitals (TBA)
Jazz
- Dance Class Attire: Any color/style leotard, tank top, leggings or shorts
- Required Shoes: Tan Leather Jazz Shoes
Contemporary
- Dance Class Attire: Any color/style leotard, tank top, leggings or shorts
- Required Shoes: Tan/Nude Dance Paws
Ballet
- Dance Class Attire:
- Any color/style leotard, skirt (optional), and tights or leggings.
- Boys: Any color/style athletic pants or shorts & t-shirt
- Required Shoes:
- Girls: Pink Leather Ballet Shoes
- Boys: Black Leather Ballet Shoes
Tap
- Dance Class Attire: Any color/style leotard, tank top, leggings or shorts
- Required Shoes: Black Oxford Tap Shoes
